Registration. Each user must register on TalNow’s Platform to become either (i) an independent, freelance expert (“Expert”) to render consulting services or (ii) a business owner or other professional (“Client”) seeking to retain an Expert. For Experts, during the registration process, you are required or requested to provide certain information, such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address, copy of your resume and a LinkedIn profile. You may also provide additional information, such as career objectives, experience, hobbies and other interests. For Clients, during the registration process, you are required or requested to provide your company name, contact information, summary of the proposed project, project budget and due dates for completing the project and/or reaching certain project milestones. This information may be updated and amended at any time after the initial registration. TalNow encourages its users to provide these fields of information so you may maximize the effectiveness of our services.

During the registration process and certain other points when using TalNow’s Platform, you may be asked if you would like to receive information and/or marketing messages from third parties that have products or services which may be of interest to you. If you consent to receiving these messages, we may share your personally identifiable information with third parties to enable them to directly contact you for these purposes.

TalNow abides by federal law and the guidelines set up by the Federal Trade Commission regarding youth privacy. As such, the Company will not knowingly collect any personal information from or allow the registration of young people under the age of thirteen (13) years. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our files.

In connection with the TalNow’s Platform, the information you supply to TalNow enables us to match Experts and Clients based on the project scope and relevant experience. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, we will not share any of your personally identifiable information with an Expert or a Client, as applicable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, by registering on the TalNow website, a user authorizes TalNow to disclose personal information, including contact information, when such disclosure is made in connection with the proposed establishment of a business relationship between an Expert and a Client. TalNow will coordinate the appropriate introductions and will be compensated in accordance with the Terms of Service provided on its website and in any ancillary documents executed by you and TalNow.

In addition, TalNow may use your information to customize our website to your interests, enhance your overall experience and customize advertising that you may see on our website. TalNow uses various methods to recognize you, including the use of cookies and requesting your e-mail address and password when accessing certain aspects of its website. As described above, we utilize passive information to learn more about how you interact with our website. This passive information may be combined with your other information for purposes such as testing and improving your experience at our website and the compilation of broad aggregate demographic data and related usage information for internal purposes and for disclosure to third parties, including advertisers and content and web analytics partners. Sharing of Information with Experts and Clients. By registering on TalNow’s website: (i) Experts authorize TalNow to share their personal information with Clients, including, without limitation, your contact information, name, location, work history, skills, previous work feedback and any other information we have been provided or collected; and (ii) Clients authorize TalNow to share their personal information with Experts, including, without limitation, job budget, location, history of such job listing, client feedback, ratings and any other information that we have been provided or collected. TalNow further reserves the right to share aggregate demographic data and related usage information with its business partners. Such aggregate information will not contain any personal information that can identify any individual user.

Third Party Service Providers. From time to time, TalNow may decide that it is more efficient to use third parties to perform specific services, such as sending e-mail blasts or hiring third party software programmers or software vendors. If we use a third party to provide specific services, then personally identifiable information (such as contact information) may be shared with that party to the extent necessary for such third-party service provider to render these services. Such service providers can use personally identifiable information solely to provide the specific services requested by TalNow. These third-party service providers shall hold and use your confidential information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The third-party services covered by this paragraph do not include links to third-party sites found on our website.

Other Third Parties. In addition to the sharing of information described above, by registering on TalNow’s website, you authorize TalNow to allow third parties to contact you and share personal information about you (such as contact information and other information about you) with third party service providers (including payroll and IT service providers), data aggregators, advertisers, marketers (possibly in the form of list rental) and others. Sale or Merger. Our Data Security Procedures

Do Not Track Signals

Various web browsers offer you an option to send a signal to websites you visit not to track you – so called Do Not Track Signals (“DNT Signals”). TalNow may use third-party ad servers and retargeting services, such as Google, to provide advertising on our sites and to provide us the ability to display advertisements to you when you have left our site. TalNow does not respond to DNT Signals as it does not track you when you leave our website. TalNow’s third-party service providers, who provide ad serving and retargeting services to TalNow, may not respond to DNT signals. If a user comes to our website directly with a DNT Signal enabled on such user’s browser, we do not look for such DNT signal or respond to it.

TalNow makes no representation (express or implied) as to the suitability of an Expert, a Client or a Project.

Modifying Privacy Choices and Opt-outs. TalNow users are given the opportunity to “opt-out” of having their personally identifiable information used for purposes not directly related to TalNow’s services. You may opt-out from receiving specified types of communications from TalNow at any time. TalNow will only communicate with you according to your listed preferences. To opt-out of third party communications, you will need to contact the applicable third party.
